Lol! J-Breakz just had to chime in with that :D I'll make a statement here of personal observation and leave it at this as I prefer not to formulate an argument that will get skewed out of proportion on the basis of semantics. I went to junior college in Santa Monica up until last year when I transferred. While I was there, Obama was elected. During the entire campaign I was very politically active. I got into many political debates before and after the election and from my experience I found that more than half of the black people who said they were voting for Obama (nearly all of the black people I spoke to) couldn't tell me any of the policies he explicitly stated, got his policies wrong, or explicitly told me that they were going to vote for him/had already voted for him because he was black. I remember a situation where I was sitting with my football team and a young latino walked by selling Obama t-shirts. When he asked me if I'd like to buy one I responded that I might after Obama actually does something. A large group of black students looked at me spitefully and a girl that I knew started to argue with me. She told me that he had already done something: he's the first black president. I asked if she had voted for him because he was black and she said yes. I also asked several people that I spoke to that didn't know about Obama's policies or admitted that they voted for him because he's black about their opinions on the war in Afghanistan. While many didn't even know about the war (they only knew we were in Iraq), those that did wanted us out of Afghanistan. I told them that Obama has said that he's going to send more troops to Afghanistan (because unlike many, maybe even most people, I actually watch the debates and pay attention) and they didn't believe me. And fyi, some of those people who voted for Obama because he was black were actually white people. I knew a few personally. Anyways, I'm willing to infer at this point that IF the percentage of my findings are proportionate in regard to society as a whole, THEN the majority of blacks (and others) did in fact vote for Obama because of his color or other specific superficial purposes. Can we agree here?

I agree exactly.

We all know that each of our end is near; the question is do we accept the end of our living existence, or do we accept our existence as dead men...
