Quote (eboyd) yo, here's the thing, that's dope as hell, and i like the idea, but the structure needs to be rearranged if you can. instead of putting that break down at the beginning of verse two, can you make verse 2 start off regular and go for 16 bars, then the breakdown comes in after for 4 bars and acts as a bridge, leading into the hook? it will be perfect because my two verses are 16 and Pensmoke's is 16 as well and it would be cool to have that little breakdown after Pen's verse so we can add in a little something over that and then have our hook. maybe i'll have a short speech or recite a poem right there on the bridge or something.

Hey, I don't wanna jump in out of no where, but I think that if you are going to use this as a track on your album, it should be more of a sentimental track... Like "Doctor's Advocate" (the track not the album) from The Game, or "Better Days" from Tupac.. A really good example would be "Platinum Hooks" from Emcee Jabee. I feel that... But it's yours, so whateva.

ok so i finished recording my last track yesterday (though it needs some SERIOUS mastering because we recorded it at like 4 in the morning and we were just trying to get the fuck home lol) which is the one over Uncharted's beat. expect this on the tracklist: Agent X - "Time Slips Away (feat. Pensmoke)" [Prod. Uncharted] yes, that's right, i got Pensmoke featured on a verse on this track. this shit will be hot! and speaking of hot, i truly am having a hard time deciding which of the 10 songs (well, 9 and an intro) i've recorded are going to get cut to bring it down to EP size because these tracks are all equally DOPE so i think i might just drop a short album, similar in length to "Illmatic". anyways, i'm now done with all of my verses, i just need to finish the following things: -get NtG's beat sent to my friend Julian AKA Soul Reel who is going to add a bassline.
-get the hook written and recorded for that track.
-get my friend Anthony's verse recorded for that track.
-get Mnemonic's verse recorded for my track over G-Ammo's beat (and you can ask Menace, this track is fire!)
-get Menace's speech at the beginning of this track.
-copy-paste one more hook on this track.
-add scratches to a few of the tracks.
-master everything. after this occurs, all i have left to do is to wait for a finished back cover and CD art, and then i have to get the album duplicated and i can officially release it and begin promoting and selling it!
