RHHF's Top Singles Chart! PLEASE VOTE

Hey everyone!
the staff and members at RHHF are going to begin compiling a top singles chart on a bi-weekly basis starting a week from today (6/26/11). here's how we're going to do this: we will be accepting music submissions on the site, our email, and from facebook for one work week (Monday thru Friday). all submissions must be posted on a site such as soundcloud or bandcamp in MP3 format which allows us to post the audio so that others may listen, as well as being download enabled. when the weekend starts we will no longer accept new singles as the weekend will be voting time. so everyone will vote from Saturday through Sunday and on Monday votes will be counted and the list will be compiled. we will be creating a top 5 on a bi-weekly or monthly basis (still up for debate). that list will remain the same for a week and will be blasted out to our network until that Sunday. in the meantime we will be accepting new submissions which we will aim to post the following Monday and submissions will continue throughout that following period and the process will repeat. the next five highest ranked tracks from the previous week will be automatically submitted for voting on the next week's list. tracks that have already made the list the previous week will not be allowed for re-submission. artists or their reps cannot vote for their own songs. by the end of the year, all songs that made the list will be re-submitted and a top ten of the year list will be compiled.
so if you are an artist or represent one and you think you have a single that has what it takes to make the list, start your submissions!

imo i think we should count all submissions from all small name artists even the ones that don't have rhhf chart submission in the title, because the more we have to choose from the better, plus i'm sure if the other submissions actually knew about this chart thing they'd want it to be counted
so have you thought about how we're gonna present this on the site when we decide and how we're going to decide?
i don't know if i'll be home next week as usual because of work so you guys are going to have to handle most of this

once we get all submissions together and up, i'll decide how long the list will be and ask people to vote in this thread and through facebook. btw, how do i get that fb app to work on this thread? because it ain't doing shit atm.
btw, yeah, i do want to do that with submits that aren't marked as RHHF Chart Submissions. can you help me with that? it's only for today.

1. you can get them to sign up, 2. isn't the point of making it accessible through facebook to make it so they can comment from fb without having to even click on the forum, and 3.i was having that problem before we changed the way the site operates.

ok, so since we have so few submissions i'm going to tell everyone to make a top 5 list. whichever 5 tracks have the highest rating by Monday will be our top 5. a #1 ranking is 5 points, a #5 ranking is 1 point, and everything in between. submit your lists here, on facebook, etc.
