To be honest, I have listened to VERY little hiphop from this decade. Besides Eminem, Tupac and Biggies post-humous collections (which are usually complete shit thanks to shitty producing), and a little bit of ICP, most of the hiphop I listen to is from 1992-1998.
1995 was prime, no doubt. Best year in hiphop when it comes to how many hits were in 1995,1996. Actually not how many hits, just the quality of the hits.
In fact right now I'm listening to "To Live and die in L.A." and the rest of the 7 day theory.
Life's a bitch and I'm just along for the ride.
