Best 5 Hip Hop Albums For Every Year

We're putting together a list of top 5 hip hop albums from every year from 1984 all the way up until 2010. we're already doing it in the youtube group but we should use the other networks to contribute to the list too.
the way it will add up is the albums get 5 points if it gets named number 1, 4 points for being named 2, 3 points for number 3, 2 points for number 4 and 1 point for being named number 5 on peoples top 5 lists.
after the lists are drawn the top 2 albums from each year will be put against other albums in a tournament style brackets, we will have votes to see which album will come out as the greatest

5. De La Soul - Are You In? OR Atmosphere - Leak At Will De La Soul are tied with Atmosphere. Since De La Soul's "R.U.N" is a running album (collab with Nike lol) I'll go out and run whilst listening to it. I'll compensate for not being an experienced runner, a regular smoker even. I've tried walking to it instead of running, but I guess it's not the same.

BTW, "De La Soul - The Impossible Mission: Operation Japan" is a japanese version (got 3 more songs) of "De La Soul - The Impossible: Mission, TV Series Pt. 1", which technically is a compilation album, but all the songs were never released before.

Well.. I feel like shit. D: I hit that "power wall" (when you run on obtained fat) like 10 minutes into the running part.
For the record, De La Soul wins the insignificant fifth place... Good purely hip hop wise, great album to run to, although instead of sprinting, I just walked. Very motivating, and unlike most sport-orientated music, they managed to make it lyrically satisfying. I'll get on to the 2010 list now... Black Sheep will probably take it. Or Roots. Well, I haven't heard that Nas/Damian collab album.

Depends how much you will give CYNE and how much you will give CunninLynguists.
I don't know how Emseed is counting the points, but my best guess is that those that share a rank will share the points for it. If you'll drop CunninLynguists one rank and keep CYNE as number 2 alone, then they'd have more points than CunninLynguists.
