they remind me of a cross between GG Allin and NWA Fucked up shit for the sake of shocking people, while at the same time just trying to push the limits of what is accecpted in not only hiphop, but pop culture, black culture, and youth culture as well.
pure expression IMO. they say fucked up shit that I think all the time, about just.. fucked up shit. you best have been being sarcastic about their freestyles.. their freestyles are whack but i find tyler the creator and all that shit to be dope. not all of it even makes sense, but fuck, it's just expression.
and if you watch interviews and videos and shit..
i mean this shit is so much like punk rock. it's not giving a fuck, it's a finger to the industry. it's openly saying "fuck everything that hiphop stands for, and fuck the industry too. fuck everything." and honestly i like that. they don't categorize themselves and they just go nuts.

lol Okay okay i got a little hyped up, my bad.. but really, ya'll don't think it's dope? I just think it's exciting for me because sure, there are are good punk bands out there and good underground hiphop groups out there, no doubt... but i've never seen anyone this close to my age, this new, coming out with this raw of an attitude. and watching interviews with Tyler the Creator, he's pretty weird/smart.. interesting dude.
i DL'd "Radical" and Earl's "EARL" mixtape.. i do think it's ironic that they say "Kill People Burn Shit Fuck School" and then one of their emcees gets sent to bootcamp. kinda lame.
