so do you think he is talking about our forum in particular  nah for real... how come he is going to bash the old school just because it didn't inspire him or he doesn't know shit about it. another thing he says its cause he wasn't born back then he doesn't know a thing about it, yet his knowledge in every other genre seems to be pretty well built from way before the years of hip hop when it started. so i don't know, but i feel like he is just trying to be like a cannibal rebel or like have an inverted opinion so that he is "different" and not with the small minority of hip hop heads. honestly the hip hop heads he described are the stupidly mind lost ones like i used to be, but still i cannot agree with what he said just because i don't truly believe all of it is true and that he is just trying to make himself sound "distinguished."

I like alot of classic shit though.. Tyler is one of the first modern hiphop artists that i like.
i don't like much modern hiphop, underground or not.. it just doesn't stick to me.
big L was in my rotation for months, along with alot of other shit people bring up. so i understand what he is saying, but that is different than feeling the same. menace, you seem to hate almost anything that isn't completley and totally on some revolutionary shit.

Whatever floats your boat though. it's not a big deal to me. i like his music, regardless of whether or not it's hiphop, or horrorcore, or pop, or hipster, or whatever people are going to label it. like i said, this is the first time in a long time i've heard something new that is kinda like a cult-artist turned major type of thing that i actually like, and i'm excited about it.
