Quote (ilikebacon3000) I disagree. I don't think he's trying to do anything. Seriously menace, lighten up. Whatever floats your boat though. it's not a big deal to me. i like his music, regardless of whether or not it's hiphop, or horrorcore, or pop, or hipster, or whatever people are going to label it. like i said, this is the first time in a long time i've heard something new that is kinda like a cult-artist turned major type of thing that i actually like, and i'm excited about it. so? So what ? you are one bitching and dick riding people, i love how you contradict yourself Your bleeding heart is pouring out Oh Tyler i am Taylor our names are pretty much the same, please fuck me in the asshole

they are good because their trying something new and its just a fresh feeling for hip hop. BUT this dickriding is ridiculous. Its putting so many people off and I think greeny is an example of that.

No, dickriding is not exactly appealing. They still don't sound very different.

their energy and production is VERY DIFFERENT. at least from traditional hip hop and well pretty much everything except grime because they kind of sound like onyx but with like acid sounding beats. IDK. they are good nonetheless.

Quote (Adam) they are good because their trying something new and its just a fresh feeling for hip hop. that's the exact thing i was going to say to menace in my last message but i decided not to put it. i'm gonna go jackoff to "VCR/Wheels" and pretend he's talking about me now but seriously... tell me he didn't do this Madlib beat justice... i honestly like the deep sounding version of this beat better than MF's version.
Life's a bitch and I'm just along for the ride.

Quote (ilikebacon3000) tell me he didn't do this Madlib beat justice that's the same sample that Madlib used, not a Madlib beat. and no. for one, Madlib's beat is WAAAAAAY better in many ways and MF DOOM fucking killed that shit. let's not get carried away Taylor. Tyler is dope, but MF DOOM is far better and far more experienced. the man has been making music videos and hit records since before Tyler was born and has a far more mature and sophisticated style. don't get me wrong, Tyler is ridiculously dope, especially for his age, but DOOM can rap laps around Tyler. let's be realistic here man.

I won't deny that he is more experienced, and better, but I like Tyler's song better than "One Beer". I never said he was better. Why do you think MF's beat is better? (Just curious, no hostility directed in that comment)

Quote (ilikebacon3000) Why do you think MF's beat is better? a lot of things. the tempo fits the sample better, it's a more concise loop, the drums are better, the sound is clearer, etc.
