well that's counter evolutionary if everyone thought like that we wouldn't evolved

And first of all, human nature is a complex thing. If, by human nature, it is meant "what humans do," it is obvious that human nature is contradictory -- love and hate, compassion and heartlessness, peace and violence, and so on, have all been expressed by people and so are all products of "human nature." Of course, what is considered "human nature" can change with changing social circumstances. For example, slavery was considered part of "human nature" and "normal" for thousands of years. Homosexuality was considered perfectly normal by the ancient Greeks yet thousands of years later the Christian church denounced it as unnatural. War only become part of "human nature" once states developed. Hence Chomsky says :Individuals are certainly capable of evil . . . But individuals are capable of all sorts of things. Human nature has lots of ways of realising itself, humans have lots of capacities and options. Which ones reveal themselves depends to a large extent on the institutional structures. If we had institutions which permitted pathological killers free rein, they'd be running the place. The only way to survive would be to let those elements of your nature manifest themselves.

"If we have institutions which make greed the sole property of human beings and encourage pure greed at the expense of other human emotions and commitments, we're going to have a society based on greed, with all that follows. A different society might be organised in such a way that human feelings and emotions of other sorts, say, solidarity, support, sympathy become dominant. Then you'll have different aspects of human nature and personality revealing themselves."

Dude, what is "human nature"? I don't think YOU know anything about "human nature." There is a ton of empirical evidence that shows scientifically that "human nature" is nothing more than mere enculturation, meaning human nature is dictated by the culture we are raised in. Sure, we have a few natural instincts like eating, sleeping, sex, etc., but any non-required traits of humanity come from enculturation. In fact, if we look back historically, even some of our physical traits, in the long run, are dictated by culture. Things such as the shape and color of our body parts, our athletic abilities, and even the construction and shape of our teeth come from the environment our ancestors learned to adapt to. Point being, most "human nature" is simply enculturation mislabeled by those in power to remain in power. Be leary of people who attribute stupidity and laziness to the masses, for those same people are the reason the masses are stupid and lazy.

That is not true

there is a diffrence between whats VIEWED as normal and human nature

You put this idea in effect and you will see that it will always be over turned

Ancient Greece (before Aristotle)

Good example. Ancient Greece and the Israeli kibbutz are the best examples of long term self management

I'll admit I didn't read this (it's late and I just got back from studying a shit load of crap).. But you do need a boss in every workplace, you need a leader. The only reason for why people try to do the best they can is because they know someone is watching them, the boss is watching, he can get you fired. If you don't have one might as well get together all of you to count pubic hair or what ever.

And who's going to teach/hire the new people? Let's all have a vote? People would feel less inclined to help others as well and would probably not do much work. You need a leader, even if you're going to vote on 'let's do this this way or that way' what if you disagree? Someone has to decide.

Anyway I'll probably read it all tomorrow and post something more sensible.. I don't believe in democracy really, there's always some 'higher power' that rules regardless. You can choose some of the people who will then dictate you, you won't have shit to say about their decisions for the most part. Anarchy won't work either or communism, there's nothing motivating people to work or do good and that's what you need all people to do for society to function properly.

Capitalist republicanism has the world on the verge of a second (possibly worse) Great Depression after only 70 years and with the Bush regime we were on the verge of a revolution, but the puppet masters have sated the masses by puting a black face on their puppet. That is the only reason people don't care. They did it last time too. People were ready to assassinate Harding for the first Great Depression so they found someone in a wheelchair, who knew how to speak, to fill his spot. It's a game and they keep the masses in check by not offering them the education they deserve and telling them capitalism is the only way and coming up with little catch phrases that give "reasons" why it is superior and nothing elsr will ever work. Your "why should we care? It won't change" attitude is an exact example of this and that is why it hasn't worked. People have been told that there is never going to be change and they believe it. We need to fix that. That is why me and Menace speak up about this. That is why we ARE doing something in the form of this website!

Watcher, people will have DESIGNATED JOBS. So there will still be a person who does the hiring, but that person will be an elected official at the job site. And the idea of "anarchy" (I hate such terms because labels put an idea in a box. It's such a broad idea and my beliefs are unique and don't fully agree with anarchist views), specifically the style I believe in most, anarcho-syndicalism, isn't meant to be like one broad anarchist nation, rather small, inter-connected anarchist districts, or syndicates. That is the main reason I hear "anarchy won't work" and I'm telling you it will. As for power, no, anarchy will not (at least immediately) get rid of power because people have been enculturated into this idea of power. However, it will eliminate power structures on a large scale.
