Quote (abanks47) so bill gates did nothing for the advancement of electronics and technology? just want to make sure I'm hearing this correctly to say that he did NOTHING is to be intellectually dishonest. many people do great things but counterbalance them with terrible things though and vice versa. for example, John D. Rockefeller was the greatest philanthropist in this world's history, but the fact is that he put far more people into poverty than he bailed out of it. it's the same story with Bill Gates.

Quote (abanks47) so bill gates did nothing for the advancement of electronics and technology? just want to make sure I'm hearing this correctly he did a great deal but his business tactics gave a bigger blow on the advancement of technology . He helped us advance then he took a great deal from that back and held us back . Monopolies as a whole are anti-competitive and slow advancement . So he gave us but he took back and held us back . And don't mind 8diagrams he has mental problems

Are you fucking kidding me? It's Microsoft's OS, they should do whatever the hell they want with it. If people rather have the Microsoft apps then the Novell apps maybe Novell should work on improving their product to make ppl think it's worth the trouble downloading or just find another market to fucking attack. The govn'ts are forcing Microsoft to NOT bundle the OS with an application??? Honestly?? That just makes life easier for consumers so they don't have to go thru the trouble of using their shitty connection to download stuff.

Having monopoly on the market Microsoft's OS dictates what apps people use . If it comes whit the package people use it . Nobody really demands it . It simply comes whit the package . Microsoft's OS is the prime example of ruthless monopolizing .

Apple has been in the market since the beginning of the personal computers. If you knew about computers then you would realize apple OS's SUCKED horribly back then. The only reason why they're not bad today is because they are based on Unix.

The only reason why they're not bad today is because they are based on Unix. my dad is a computer analyst and a conservative who is all for capitalism. he was the one who actually told me about Microsoft bundling products and making it so that consumers had no other choice. there were other products on the market that were good, but because Microsoft made it a requirement to use their products, they gained a virtual monopoly. while at the root of things Microsoft did, in fact, have the best PC in the market, it was their bundling of complementary products that gained them virtual monopoly status overall.
