i got 7-8 people ready rip up a beat. it needs to go HARD. a beat that also has longevity, and can hold the weight of so many mcs. these are the people who will be on the track so far
Erratic, I don't make beats and I already have a 13 track album almost completely finished (and it's pretty dope) and I have never paid a dollar for a beat in my entire life. It's called networking. That's the beauty of this website. We run on what's called mutual aid -- basically I scratch your back, you scratch mine. Think about this: the beat we just got was free, and we are getting verses from Mac Lethal and K-Rino for free. That's the benefit of helping people out.
So HipHopSpot, you think you can get everyone together in a chat room at once so we can discuss the track?
to listen to a beat i made. I sampled Herbie hancock
Ok works now. I could not open it before. Good shit, I expected nothing from you but a pure dopeness.
And Erik, no offence but beat from Unite C for a posse track is not a good idea. I mean, Unite C is my man and I have nothing but respect and support for him and music he does, but his style of producing doesn't fit with this type of track.
MENACE 2 JOKER: Go back to Mexico you damn spic JOKER 2 MENACE: Shut up you fake nigga your a damn sand nigger not a full nigger
El Mat, I think you have very strange taste in music and always have lol. That beat is undeniable greatness, and as long as we go with straight dope ass lyricism it doesn't matter if it's a posse cut, solo cut, whatever.
Do you have a different beat in mind? Because right now my mind is set on that one and everyone involved in this project agrees.
Also, do you just think it's not good for a posse cut, or do you not like the beat? If the latter, then you need to get your ears checked imo lmao! That's easily a top caliber hardcore beat. I could easily hear that being on one of Jeru the Damaja's classic albums.
Lol are you serious???? Have you heard that beat???! Listen to that fucking beat and tell me I'm just "jockin" 'cause he's "in my duo". Plus that beat perfectly complements the style of the main emcees that will be on it (especially K-Rino). And I'm also not the only person who is feeling this shit. I already got the nod from HipHopSpot, Psyonic, and EmSeeD who all agree that the beat is sick as hell. I am just waiting to see what the rest of the artists say. my new theme song

can you send me the beat in my email? because i want to send it to everyone on the song and see what they say. k's always down for whatever, he will adapt to it no problem. mac on the other hand ive only been talking to for a few months. where will we have this chat? and its going to be tough to get them all at once. we all have different timezones. from california to the uk Youtube http://www.youtube.com/user/TheHipHopSpot SPC http://southparkcoalition.webs.com/
True. If we can at least get most of us on at once or something it should be just fine. I was just hoping we could at least get everyone in communication so that we could get on the same page. Either way it's fine.
As for sending the beat, my internet is down (I'm using my phone atm) so I will have to send it later or send it from a friend's house. I'll try to see if I can use my friend's computer real quick but no guarantees. Either way, I'll probably get it to you by at least Monday.
and we are getting verses from Mac Lethal and K-Rino for free
i think hiphopspot had to pay for them, maybe we could sell the track for a dollar or less on bandcamp to make up for what hiphopspot paid? i'm sure a lot of people would be interested since it features mac lethal and k-rino, grindtime might even put it on their site coz they always put battle artists music on their site
