Introducing Nutty NRG:
Nutty NRG are London MCs Skyy-I and Gizla. Having paid their dues battling MCs across London and beyond, and with three street mixtapes to their name, ‘The Nutty NRG EP’ represents their long awaited first ‘official’ release. Known for their honest lyrics, quirky style and catchy choruses the Nutty NRG boys are well respected in the UK underground hip hop scene having opened for a succession of high profile acts, including Ghostface Killah, T-Pain and R’n’B singer Joe.
The EP features the future funk tracks ‘Fabulous’ and ‘Sex Appeal’, and the alternative club banger ‘Speed Dial’. The duo stick to their hip hop roots on ‘Paper Chase’, and show that they don’t take themselves too seriously on the sexy sax infused ‘Saxophone’.
The EP provides a perfect introduction to the Nutty NRG sound: funky, fresh and a little bit, well, NUTTY!
It will be released on Orange Tree Records via digital download on all major download stores on 8th August 2011. For more info on Nutty NRG:

TINY DANZA are a combination of hip-hop, R&B, and party rock. Their debut album “YOU COULD HAVE IT ALL” came out June 14th through Bent Penny/Fontana North/Universal and has sold out in Toronto, Vancouver and Winnipeg.
Since the album release, Tiny Danza have headlined four very different and unique events including pop up shows out of the back of a U-Haul van and playing in a park to over 1000 people. They also recently won a trip to play at the ENVOL et MACADAME festival in Quebec in September.
Currently, the band is working on two music videos for their critically acclaimed hit single “BEAT FLY,” which is now playing on commercial radio, and their second single “THE GRIND.” “Beat Fly” is also one of the top nine most downloaded songs for the video game Rock Band.
Tiny Danza have recently been live on air with AUX TV, Indie Love Radio, and Nat&Marie with Internet foodie sensation Epic Meal Time. As well, the band was the Featured Artist of the Week on Reverb Nation.
You can catch Tiny Danza on August 5th at the Horseshoe where they will be accompanied by plenty of hot Toronto talent for their official CD release.
Pittsburgh emcee Jasiri X - who made news last year with his "What If The Tea Party Were Black?" video - and producer REL!G!ON have joined forces on a new album called Ascension. Jasiri X and REL!G!ON collaborated on two singles - "Pyramids" featuring Planet Asia, and "Silent Night" - before deciding to work on Ascension. Jasiri X was also featured on REL!G!ON’s debut album Revelationz 1. "Triple 7” is the first leak from the album, and features Kil Ripkin as well as Atlanta femcee staHHr of MF DOOM's Metal Face Crew. In the video clip Jasiri X explains the genesis of "Triple 7”.
To help promote their still untitled EP project, Raze and Logic (better known as the emcee of hip-hop duo The Hollowz) have released an official music video for their single "Thinking Out Loud."
The intimate video, shot by Ku Mays, perfectly captures the essence of the Raze produced song as the emcees talk about their inner-most thoughts. Everybody has thoughts that constantly race through their mind, so this song is easily relatable to the public. The guitar and co-production of Mike Carpenter is what pushes this track over the edge of being just a "think piece" to a true composition.
Epsilon Project (EP) is a collective of three emcee’s, three emcee/producers and a DJ. Members of the crew include, Dex (a.k.a. Riff Raff McGriff), J-Pro, Unxpect, MP (a.k.a. "I did this for a remix contest 2 & 1/2 years ago and though i received mad props from fellow entrants, i was ultimately disqualified from winning because i had used a 2 sec snippet from the Transformers theme though we were asked to use NO samples... and that did me in Shouts to my bro Damu The Fudgemunk for the ill cuts. Hopefully i'll get to work with K-Os on something original in the future, he's a cool ass cat! Neosonic Productions Feb 3, 2009"
