Kdb & St. Peter - Sovereign Skies (Feat. Killah Priest)

DOWNLOAD

Within The Solace is a Collaborative concept album created by St Peter and KDB. KDB has been involved heavily within the Hip Hop scene for over a decade, reaching many feats such as JUNO Nominated Projects, Nationwide Tours and Regular Video Rotations on MUCH MUSIC. ST PETER Has been producing beats and sewing projects together for a few years with his Wu Tang afilliations, Building music for Hell Razah, Shabaaz The Disciple, Daddy Rose, Vendetta Kingz and many more; Not to fail mentioning his follow up project with Killah Priest.

This album has various features of Underground legends and has been anticipated by many outlets such as Kevin Nottingham, Dj Eclipse and Dj Premier. Within The Solace is a politically driven project with a spiritually motivated characteristic. The times of today trace the civil rights era on a worldwide scale, with broader issues; WITHIN THE SOLACE brings you into a space of understanding. The raw messages and poetic shadow boxing, is well conveyed over Soundtrack-like' production. If you love content, Musically composed instrumental and the Golden Era of Hip Hop, You will love to sit back and fall Within The Solace.

M.O.P & Snowgoons "Sparta"‏

The Raw is back! Babygrande Records presents the title track, “Sparta"” from M.O.P. & Snowgoons upcoming LP which will be released on 11-22-2011.

Hailing from Brownsville, Brooklyn, Billy Danze and Lil Fame have solidified their reputation as iconic lyricists through their years of hard-hitting rhymes and unparalleled tenacity. Never compromising their style and having shared the mic with industry greats such as Jay-Z, Jadakiss, Styles P, Guru, ODB, Busta Rhymes, and Redman, just to name a few, the duo has rightfully earned its status as one of the most revered acts in hip-hop today.

In Late July 2011, Billy Danze took to Conspiracy Worldwide Radio to break the news that M.O.P.’s upcoming LP would be a collaborative effort with German & Danish production team, the Snowgoons. Speaking on the album, Danze said, “[Snowgoons] just sent us some fire…those dudes are incredible…when you hear this project, you’re going to be satisfied as an M.O.P. fan and a Snowgoons fan.” Ensuring fans around the world that this will be one of their most diverse sounding albums, the Mash Out Posse member went on to praise the Snowgoons, proclaiming, “they’ve got everything…they’re blazing through and coming from different angles. These guys providing us with that dramatic sound, with those theatrical sounds, with that hard hip-hop…they supplied us with everything. I’m really psyched about this project.” Further, listeners can prepare for what Danze and Lil’ Fame consider “their best project in 10 years.”

Hasan Salaam - .1911

The concept behind Hasan Salaam's EP "Music Is My Weapon" is the belief that music can be used as a powerful tool in the pursuit of freedom, justice, and equality. With the release of the project, Hasan is aiming to prove that music can change people's lives, literally. All profits from the sale of the EP will be used to fund a school, clean water well, and medical clinic in Guinea-Bissau, West Africa. In November 2010, Hasan became the first U.S hip hop artist to ever perform in Bissau. On the same trip he worked with the young artists, taught creative writing to the youth, and headlined a concert to promote freedom of speech. The "Music Is My Weapon" project is the next step, in an effort to provide change to a country that remains one of the poorest and least politically stable in the world.

@BopAlloy (Substantial @substizzle & Marcus D) Indiegogo Campaign (Please Support Real Hip Hop)

Our Story

We are TRUE independents artists. As in no label (major or indie), no A & R, or publicist. Just an MC, Producer, & our vision. This allows us complete creative control of our sound & product. But, it also means that our resources are limited, which makes it challenging to manufacture merchandise to supply our fans with.

The R & R (Remixes & Revisions) is the title of our upcoming release. It features Gods'Illa, Javier Starks, Justis, Kayo Charles, Kokayi, Mello-D, Nate Vibez, Steph the Sapphic Songstress, Wordslave of Root & Words, Wordsmith & yU of Diamond District. With new production from Marcus D and remixes from Bolo, Funky DL, J-zen, Joe.D, K-Murdock, lastORDER, & Substantial.

The Impact
With our debut album, physical copies were only available through a foreign licensor, forcing fans to pay twice as much. This time around we plan to manufacture the project ourselves to make it more affordable & accessible to our listeners once our campaign is successful. We are also planning to travel and perform more in 2012 to promote this release and our name.

If this campaign isn't successful, physical copies will only be available through one of our foreign licensors. This means that fans would be forced to pay import prices which tend to be expensive. Worse than that, we may only be able to make it digital only release without proper funding or a licensing/distribution deal. We hate the idea of reaching your city to put on a show and having nothing for you to walk away with as much as you do. That being said, we know that it is highly unlikely that you, THE MOST AWESOME FANS IN THE UNIVERSE, will let us fail!

What We Need & What You Get

We need $5000 to cover manufacturing, mastering, cover art, promotional items and expenses for our upcoming tour & several confirmed to promote the release. Any donation above our goal will go toward music videos & production cost for our official second album.

If we do not reach our goal, we'll use what we have, combined with our initial digital sales, to cover the bare necessities to make the physical release possible.

Other Ways You Can Help

Word of mouth! Please help us spread the word using whatever tools you have at your disposal, such as social networks, blogs, etc.

As always, thanks for your continued support. God bless.
