But don't post none of those bullshit ass wannabe gangster movies that plague modern cinema (that's why it's up to the year 2000). Try to only post one at a time. I'll start with the obvious. "The Godfather" (1972)(2 Hours 55 min)(21 Awards Won, 17 Awards Nominated) Director: Francis Ford Coppola Writer: Mario Puzo, Francis Ford Coppola Stars: Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, Robert Duvall, Diane Keaton, John Cazale, James Caan

Here's the real shit, in my opinion this shit is deeper than the Godfather. It took ten years to make it and the full version is still not yet released. Once Upon A Time In America(1984)(3 Hours 50 Min)(11 Awards Won, 5 Awards Nominated) Director: Sergio Leone Writer: Sergio Leone, Harry Grey, Leonardo Benvenuti, Piero De Bernadi, Enrico Medioli, Franco Arcalli, Franco Ferrini, Sergio Leone, Stuart M. Kaminsky, Ernesto Gastaldi Stars: Robert DeNiro, James Woods, Elizabeth McGovern, Burt Young, Tuesday Weld, Joe Pesci, Treat Williams

Quote (ill) true but i cant think of a movie that was better then the books it was based on Alot of people think the Godfather was. That's another reason why it is considered so great.
