Best 5 Hip Hop Albums For Every Year

We're putting together a list of top 5 hip hop albums from every year from 1984 all the way up until 2010. we're already doing it in the youtube group but we should use the other networks to contribute to the list too.

the way it will add up is the albums get 5 points if it gets named number 1, 4 points for being named 2, 3 points for number 3, 2 points for number 4 and 1 point for being named number 5 on peoples top 5 lists.

after the lists are drawn the top 2 albums from each year will be put against other albums in a tournament style brackets, we will have votes to see which album will come out as the greatest

i don't think that is really of consequence because their shit is on point. i mean People Under The Stairs, A Tribe Called Quest, etc., don't have particularly dynamic cadences but their cadences are simply clean. i think Looptroop has a more dynamic cadence than these groups anyways actually.

well, anyone from Los Angeles, like myself, upon first listening to Son Doobie, will be able to hear that dude is from LA, likely East Los or some other predominantly Hispanic region. while the Looptroop hide their accents about as well as the big name emcees in New Zealand that try to sound American, they still are obviously European, but it comes out dope with their accents imo. for example, "Off The Record" probably wouldn't have sounded as dope with an emcee with a different accent spitting over it. for those of you who haven't heard that track, check it:
