Blink 182 are bubble gum rock and you ever heard a song called Punk is Dead by Crass ?? replace what they say there whit HIP HOP and you will see its the same man i mean even Sex Pistols were more cool then Blink 182 ain't a kid to listen to bubble gum music man and one thing more hip hop is not "different" hip hop is not the only culture and music genre to be swallowed and killed by the pop world if you look back most music genres whit a cultural backbone started as social movements hip hop is not different hip hop is going trough the same cycle every music genre gone

exactly i mean Crass sold , The Exploited sold too hell Sex Pistols were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and they are one of the best bands of all time but still their music was good all these bands were Punk Rock and nothing else why now days you gotta be pop to sell come on man ?? purism means being ORIGINAL and true to your musical roots

its pop punk.
And blink isnt the equivelnt of lil wayne, that would be green day.
Alot of people like them, but only know like there hits and shit.
I have all there albums from 1039 smoothed out to american idoit.
I love all of it.
And I know EVERY WORD of EVERY SONG on Take off your pants and jacket, Enema of the state, and Blink 182 by Blink 182.

They have some pretty good shit.
And sum 41 is rockish/popish/punkish.
They are very well rounded.
two albums are really heavy, two are like Blink 182, and the other is like a wanna be American Idiot, but still good. I saw them live in 07.

And I dont like real punk. Ive listened to Dropkick murphys, Sex Pistols, etc, just a few times, and to be honest, I hate it.

Blink 182, Sum 41, green day, and Good Charlotte (in 2003 before all this gay dance shit) were my favoirte bands of all time. They still are. I still listen to their CD's to this day. They are classic.
I know they arent punk, and I dont say they are.

And you have to admit, it is better than alot of bands out there.
