I got this idea from joker, even though Michael Jackson has passed away, you can still evaluate Prince and MJ's work. Who do you think is the better artist? I'd say Prince, because he pretty much made his success himself. Not only has he produced all of his own albums but he has recorded every instrument himself on his songs and has a mammoth discography. Though Mr. Jackson (R.I.P) made fewer albums you can say he was more consistent, I honestly don't think he would be as big as he was without the help of Quincy Jones. To me, he was the better performer. Anyways, share your opinions.

wow i didn't know Prince played all the instruments as well that's quite impressive, maybe prince might be better as an artist, but michael made a bigger impact, i don't listen to either that much, though i was a huge michael jackson fan when i was a kid

Prince....multi-talented multi-disciplined. MJ had one good Album...Off the Wall, could never come off with lyrics like Prince. "Grenade launcher roars in a television sky"..WTF!!! He may well be a lipglossed purple high heeled midget but for shear range of skills.... PRINCE!

the cultural impact of Michael Jackson was huge . Now after him dying everyone is admitting that they lied about MJ being a pedophile the dad of that kid that MJ allegedly molested killed himself this month i think because he felt guilty for MJ's death . The kid came out and recognized MJ didn't molest him it was a scam done by his dad etc. I think MJ legacy must be cleared at least after his death . and I go whit MJ because Prince is like fucking Prince i mean
