I got this idea from joker, even though Michael Jackson has passed away, you can still evaluate Prince and MJ's work. Who do you think is the better artist? I'd say Prince, because he pretty much made his success himself. Not only has he produced all of his own albums but he has recorded every instrument himself on his songs and has a mammoth discography.
Though Mr. Jackson (R.I.P) made fewer albums you can say he was more consistent, I honestly don't think he would be as big as he was without the help of Quincy Jones. To me, he was the better performer.
