Quote (Lord_Meth) there u go!!! I was just thinking about that last night myself about people easily seeing the negatives before they can see wats positive about Hip Hop!! U earn reps dawg Same here. You have my respect too homie. I just get tired of seeing negative shit all the time. Gotta enough problems in the world to worry about. LOL Quote (Menace) if Jay-z didn't contributed to the downfall of HIP HOP then i am a Eddie Izzard and I'm doing stand up comedy dressed in a transvestite his corporate deals merged hip hop closer and closer to her demise it's fucking called corporate monopolization it happened in all genres from Hippie to Punk Rock it's not even about money to Jay's part cause if he didn't keep monopole over hip hop they dropped him and made him a hobo that's why its good to be an independent artist LOL, Jay-Z is worth MILLIONS though cuz & most of the business ventures, he OWNS. Jay doesn't have to rap at all if he didn't want so I don't think he contributed to the downfall of hip-hop at all. Dude has to love the game if he's still rapping at 39 going on 40. I will say though his music growth-wise needs to improve. That d-boy shit is getting old. That's why I kinda liked "Kingdom Come" a bit, even though lyrically, he wasn't as good on that album.
Only god can judge me.

Quote (Lord_Meth) "If lyrics sold I'd be, lyrically Talib Kweli" - Jay-Z that was ealier posted by EmSeed so yea he has admitted to selling out LOL, he also said on "Moment Of Clarity", "I wanna rhyme like Common Sense/(But I did five Mil) I ain't been rhymin like Common Sense" & now look at Common. His latest album was 100% trash, was straight pop music & STILL didn't sell. Just saying. LOL
Only god can judge me.
