Camobear Records along with Ephin and Stompdown present The Penguin EP. The Penguin EP finds Evil Ebenezer still struggling to carve his niche in a fickle industry of polished heroes born of blog over-hype with little substance. The years of struggle waning on his soul, his fake smiles used up, Evil ventures to his safe spot: the shadows. Evil lets his imagination run wild, identifying himself with the comic book villains of his youth, who led lives on the edge of the law, on the fringes of society. The first video “Half Bird Half Man,” directed by the deranged Stuey Kubrick, is a demented re-imagining of the 1960‘s Batman villain, the Penguin, played by Burgess Meredith. A twisted criminal world is painted in “Half Bird Half Man,” a world without trust or loyalty, even among Evil’s henchmen played by sicko clowns Snak The Ripper and Merkules and a balaclava clad Caspian.
The albums tracks were all crafted by gritty Edmonton producer Nato and guest features include Snak The Ripper, Young Sin and Touch.

"In a world we live in we are inundated with commercialism, politics and religion. This causes us to question our beliefs... our humanity... our purpose... and at times can make us feel like we're drowning. This song is about looking in the mirror and assessing who we are as individuals and as citizens of a larger kingdom. At the end of the day, we see ourselves as common individuals with a desire to be inclusive about our thoughts and feelings," shares Wonder Brown.
"The Darke Bros." is available now on ILLECT Recordings.

Philadelphia based emcee and producer, Ako wrote and produced this album with the intent on releasing two separate tracking arrangements. Depending on which version you listen to, the listener will get a different experience from the instrumenation and lyrics.
As each track blends into the next, Ako carefully composed each song to be a lead in to the next. So essentially each song is designed to lead into two separate songs because their are two track listings. The album was produced entirely by Ako and Deleon both of the Chemistry Music Collective. The narrative explores the external stress and focuses on Ako’s attempt to present a lucid understanding of the things he can and can’t control.

Harlem Six is a Hip Hop, R&B, and Reggaeton group founded by Brothers Lord and God Harrison in 1999. Unlike every other group, driven by the influence of many great generational movements of its' past, the Harlem Six represents the most powerful social and cultural movement of this era. Today, Harlem Six is a group of four men who represent a long and still existing struggle for equality of life in the world today.
Harlem Six signifies the real history of a group of six young, black and Hispanic teenage men from the 1960's who were wrongly accused for heavy crimes that dominated 125th Street and Madison Avenue in Harlem, NY. The media gave Harlem Six the name it still uses today in memory of the six young men persecuted for crimes they never committed two of whom where murdered without evidence to support the charges.
Today, Harlem Six is comprised of four living members united as one in memory of their two deceased counterparts; a consistent reminder of what the spoils of dealing with negativity can do to the youth.
In all, Harlem Six represents the great effort of all of the world's youth today who continue to face racial profile injustices and stereotyping for their beliefs, religion, color and/or creed.
